My personalized approach to coaching

During the coaching conversation we are partners, I am your co-pilot that takes you through collaborative process of nurturing your inner motivation for positive change.

My goal is to create a safe space for you to think, without judgment and without presumption.

That is why You may experience longer than natural periods of silence on my end but If I see an opportunity to help you clarify your thinking, I may interrupt you at times.

I will echo your language and often mirror what I observe to help increase your consciousness, but I may also use your language, your statements, or metaphors I hear to help broaden your perspective.

I am not here to advise you, or to mentor you. I am here to affirm, acknowledge and honour you- to help you tap into your full potential by exploring the resources you already have at your disposal.

Our coaching conversation is a change conversation. it’s an opportunity to “evoke awareness” and bring blind spots to light. It’s an exploratory conversation to break through ambivalence for change and crystallize your goals (what do you actually want, vs what do you feel you “should” want) It’s a goal-oriented conversation with particular attention to the language of change including beliefs, attitudes, assumptions, and values. It’s a partnership of equals designed to elicit your own solutions, promote autonomy, responsibility and accountability to yourself for the change you want.  It’s a conversation with clear directionality, to move you with intention and purpose towards what you desire and to explore what is holding you back.
